Record custom performance metrics during your test. Metrics are stored in InfluxDB format and can be used for performance monitoring, alerting, and trend analysis across test runs.

## Channels

All channels support metric recording equally.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Required | Description |
|-----------|----------|-------------|
| Measurement | Yes | Metric name (e.g., `form_submit_time`, `api_response_ms`). |
| Fields | Yes | Key-value pairs of numeric or boolean values (the actual measurements). |
| Tags | No | Key-value pairs for grouping/filtering metrics (e.g., test name, user type, region). |

## Notes

- Tags are optional dimensions for filtering and grouping metrics in dashboards.
- Metrics are aggregated across test runs for trend analysis and alerting.
