Verify things a selector can't express: "the onboarding carousel shows 3 dots", "the cart total matches the sum of the items", "no error banner is visible". The AI looks at the current screen and judges whether your assertion holds.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Required | Description |
| ----------- | ---------- | ------------- |
| Assertion | Yes | What should be true, in plain language. For example: "The cart shows 2 items and a total of 39,98 €". Supports variables. |
| Ignore error on this step | No | The run continues with the next step if this one fails. Default: off. |

## Results and metrics

- **Timing**: start, end, and duration (in seconds) recorded in the step result.
- **Status**: success when the AI judges the assertion true on the current screen, failed otherwise, with the AI's explanation in the result.
- **Screenshot**: captured for the asserted state, so you can review what the AI evaluated.
- **AI usage**: the AI cost of the evaluation is added to the run.
